HOW IT WORKS
tested in Godot 4Give an AnimatedSprite2D the SpriteFrames of the character, palette and size you want and play walk_down, idle_left, attack_right and so on. Speeds and loops are already set.
Every face is drawn pixel by pixel and the skin tones come from each palette, so a character keeps its look in all eight palettes.
THE COLOURS
- Every pixel is one of the 16 colours of its palette
- Up to four skin tones per palette
