THE LICENSE
Use it in personal and commercial projects, in as many as you want, and modify it however you like. Credit is welcome and not required.
The one thing you cannot do is resell the assets on their own as a pack or a template. Build with them, do not repackage them.
HOW IT WORKS
tested in Godot 4Paint the ground on one layer and the walls on a layer above it, each with its own terrain brush. A wall with floor to the south shows its brick face, a lit top and a shadow at its foot, over any ground.
We painted real maps with Godot's own terrain tools, irregular rooms, 1-wide corridors, a lone pillar, a pit and a lava pool, and checked every cell the engine picked: no empty cells and no seams in any palette or size.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Paint pits, dirt and liquid at least 2 tiles wide
- Every pixel is one of the 16 colours of its palette
- The palettes are free at paleto.gg/palettes
